We're proud of our Inn. We're proud of our town. We're proud of our province. It shows in the Inn's construction, our hospitality, and our stories. And we're excited to share all of that with you. The Inn on Capelin Bay was built in 2014 on a hill on the north side of Calvert Bay (formerly Capelin Bay) with picturesque views. It incorporates reclaimed materials from the original house and other buildings in the town as well as antiques from handed down from the proprietor's family and other places around the province.

Panoramic Views
The Inn is nestled among the trees overlooking Calvert Bay, which is at the hear of the famous Southern Shore region. This makes the Inn the perfect place to act as hub for your Southern Shore exploration. Within minutes of the Inn you'll find a popular dinner theatre, hiking trails, whale/puffin watching tours, bird sanctuaries, provincial parks, waterfalls, and the famous Lighthouse Picnics. Click here for a listing of some of the avaialble activities in the area.
Often people don't want to run around but just sit and enjoy the peace and quite while taking in the breathtaking views. One of the more popular activites for early birds is a short hike up the East Coast Trail for a perfect view of the first sunrise in Canada! Scroll through the slide show below for just a few shots shared by our guests.
